A new year means time for more hearth cooking activities.
Saturday, February 8 is the next “Simple Mid-day Meal”
hearth cooking class, from noon to 5 p.m. HUZZAH!
THE CLASS IS NOW FULL. Stay tuned for announcements
about future classes.
UPDATE: A second hearth cooking class will be held
on Sunday, March 2, 2014, from noon to 5 p.m.
Cost is $55 per person, $45 for MHS members. As always,

program as a talk at 2 p.m. at the Museum of Early Trades
and Crafts, in Madison, NJ. Yes, there WILL be samples!

Cemetery in Brooklyn; details to come
Saturday, October 18: from noon to 4 p.m. I’ll be cooking
some tasty autumn treats at the outdoor firepit during
the Fall Festival at the King Manor Museum in Jamaica,
Queens, New York. Visit the Museum’s site for more
information. This event will take place rain or shine.
