I just returned a little bit ago from the fifth annual “Remember the Ladies” event
at the Old Barracks in Trenton, NJ. WOW. First ALHFAM, then this. Two simply fantastic programs in virtually the same week. What did I do to deserve this?! Whatever it was, I’m most grateful. “Remember the Ladies” was two days
of informative lectures, seeing old friends and making new, great meals,
the friendly Barracks staff, fun workshops, and even some historic cooking
at the brick bake oven. A truly rewarding weekend. HUZZAH!
And then there were the nights of sleeping in the soldiers’ quarters of the Barracks.
What an adventure!
But alas, I’m tired. Need sleep.
