Tonight marks the end of this year’s national ALHFAM conference. All will
be on their way back to reality tomorrow. The past few days have been
highly productive, with informative sessions, fantastic weather, good
food and even better accommodations. It’s been a smooth-running
event overall.
I’d like to personally give a loud “HUZZAH” to our host site, Old Salem
Museum and Gardens. The staff there could not have been more
welcoming. It was a joy to tour the various buildings and chat
with the very capable interpreters. I even returned to the Village
this afternoon (yes, I ditched the Big All-Important Meeting),
and visited a few spots that I missed yesterday due to time
constraints. I guess that would be my one complaint: So much
to see and do, and so little time in which to see and do it!
Until next time….
